Orbetello: in the middle of the lagoon of the same name, it offers the possibility of pleasant walks in the restored pedestrian area or on the lakefront while waiting for aperitif time. In the many places you can taste the typical fish dishes of the local cuisine. There are two main events: the Cruise Festival (between July and August) and Gustatus (All Saints’ Day).

Monte Argentario, Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole: a promontory that juts out into the sea full of nature, rocks and coves with crystal clear water, ideal for both nature and worldliness lovers.

The lands of tuff: in the hinterland of Maremma, surrounded by nature, there are the medieval villages of Pitigliano, Sovana and Sorano. Entirely built in the tuff with centuries-old traditions and places of worship, they allow visitors a real journey into the past.

Tarot Garden: for more than 20 years the French artist Niki de Saint Phalle worked on this unique work in the world. 22 installations of various sizes in glass and ceramic mosaic representing the tarot cards.

ARGENTARIO AND MAREMMA

On the Costa d'Argento, where you can visit the most beautiful beaches in Tuscany, where the sea is crystal clear and where you can appreciate dishes worthy of the most famous starred chefs. A few minutes from the beaches of Monte Argentario, from Orbetello with its lagoon and from the medieval villages of the hinterland.

Capalbio: medieval village of incredible charm, full of typical restaurants and history. We recommend a walk along the ramparts from which you can admire the fantastic panorama that extends from Porto Ercole to Lake Burano.

Maremma Park: from the mouth of the Ombrone river to Talamone (entrance just 7 km from the residence), the Maremma Park extends along the coast of magical Tuscany, a chain of hills that descends towards the sea with sandy beaches and cliffs, surrounded by pine forests, cultivated fields and pastures. Among the intense scents of aromatic herbs and colored berries you can admire the wild animals of the Mediterranean maquis.

Vulci Archaeological Park: the Etruscan city of Vulci stood on the banks of the Fiora river. The recently opened archaeological park allows you to walk among the ruins of the city and enjoy the coolness of the forest on the banks of the river. In the nearby medieval castle of Badia you can admire the artifacts found during the archaeological excavations. Do not miss the François tomb, which can be visited by appointment.
